First and foremost, I’m thrilled I made it to the 2 weeks SkaeHub boot camp. The first week was intriguing. I’ve learnt so much than I expected, made new friends, and gained a better understanding of the cultures that SkaeHub embraces. Even though I’ve made it to end of week one, I’m going to tell you about the difficult, eyeopening and fun time I’ve had from the beginning to now.

The SkaeHub Bootcamp is a technical training program that teaches an prepares young individuals in today’s software development abilities. Coding Bootcamps allow passionate developers with a strong background in software development to concentrate on the most crucial areas of coding. We apply those coding abilities to real-world challenges. At SkaeHub, we have individual and group challenges that have to be completed in a certain amount of time. As software developers, we are requested to use the power of technology to provide the world solutions, with some of the complicated problems available.

This delicate stage entails a range of tasks that are aimed to test every area of our minds, including adaptability, speed, interactiveness, teamwork, openness to feedback, passion, excellence, integrity, and quality driven. During week one of the Bootcamp, I was tasked with learning team work, and how to do extensive research to solutions, which included being able to accurately estimate and complete projects on time.

I’m the type of individual who is more interested in the front-end than the backend. This is because I had dedicated most my time to understanding the front end, partially because I found the back end to be a little stressful and required a lot of practice to completely understand the reasoning used by back-end engineers when designing software programs.

Some of the challenges in the SkaeHub boot camp require knowledge of Python, a back-end programming language, in order to complete them. I’ve been having challenges studying python at this boot camp. For me, this was a difficult task because it needed me to learn on the fly and switch from one programming language to another. I’ve learnt that change is unavoidable, and that being willing to alter and adapt to new situations is beneficial to one’s growth and learning.

I’ve begun to realize the beauty of learning backend programming languages after putting in enough time and practice. This has helped me to think more clearly, and the SkaeHub boot camp challenges are now becoming a piece of cake. I’ve learnt Python and am now more comfortable with the fundamentals, and I’m proud with what I’ve been able to accomplish in just one week.

To sum up, the way you think about specific obstacles or problems can have a big impact on how you deal with them. There may be many things in your life that you cannot change, but you can always change the way you think about them. This is the mindset I’ve acquired during my time at boot camp.
